Shooting / Range Accessories for Cap and Ball

CIVIL WAR REVOLVERS
SHOOTING and RANGE ACCESSORIES for C&B

The picture below shows the shooting accessories and equipment I use for shooting and cleaning my Uberti Remington '1858' New Army cap and ball reproduction revolver. You may use different items or take more or less than I have listed but I have found that the items listed are enough to have a fun-filled afternoon at the local gun club.

As you can see, the basic shooting and cleaning items I use are store bought. There are a lot of cheaper ways to enjoy cap and ball black powder shooting but as I am just a 'casual' shooter I don't mind paying the somewhat high prices. Now if I was to go 'full on' into black powder shooting and not as a change of pace from my usual shooting of cartridge pistols and revolvers I would definately be looking to lower costs.

Use your mouse to hover over the items in the picture below to get a description and other information of each item.

A Complete Range Box List of Contents

Obviously you dont need everything I have listed here but I like being prepared. The items listed here can be broken up into three areas - must have -should have - nice to have. Nothing is worse than having to cut an enjoyable day at the range short by not having a tool or spare part available and leaving early because the item you need is at home in the back room or requires a trip to the local gun shop.
