WHAT IS A TROPHY WHEN
BOW HUNTING?

Most people look at a trophy as a 150+ class deer ... yeah that is nice, but consider this ...

... A TROPHY IS ANY DEER YOU LEGALLY TAKE WITH A BOW ...

I don't care if its a 10 pointer or a small doe, nothing equals the thrill of taking a deer with a bow. Whatever the size or sex it will still end up on my dinner table in some way, shape or form. Hunting with a bow is an exhilarating experience. It is not about killing an animal but is the feeling of going one on one with large wild game at very close distances. Matching wits with an animal that has extremely acute senses of smell, hearing and sight. To get Whitetail Deer into the 20-30 yard range means you have to beat those senses and that is not an easy thing to do, especially with super wary and cautious bucks. As soon as that head goes up and he starts sniffing at the wind, you're busted and he is outa there. Not only is it about putting food on the table, bow hunting is also a way to get out in the woods and see nature first hand. You have no idea the amazing sunrises and sunsets I have experienced while sitting alone in a tree 20-30 feet above the ground. A man (or woman) can do some serious relaxing or thinking out in the woods.

You may not understand the adrenaline rush or the excitement of taking large game with a bow but every other bow hunter does.
